I don't have better words than MetaCPAN is simply awesome! You can connect either with your PAUSE, Twitter, Facebook or Github account and vote on modules! With one click! Russian subtitles by Andrew Shitov. Korean subtitles by Keedi Kim.
You can actually connect all the accounts there though I am not yet sure what does that mean. You can also add your profile on a lot of other networks and I am sure soon there will be mashups collecting information from there. There you are! Something I've forgotten in the screencast. If you add the name of your Github account then you already get an extra feature: You will be listed on the Github meets CPAN which is also, just beautiful and shows that the Japanese are embracing Perl. I am currently number 40 there but I'll have to work very hard to keep that place once more of the CPAN authors sign-in and add their Github account. (Currently I see 154 listed.) For details about that site see the blog of Johannes Plunien when Github Meets CPAN If you are interested, Tokuhiro Matsuno just blogged on How to get a latest release information from MetaCPAN API? BTW, have I already mentioned that I started to put together a Perl tutorial? Watch the screencast on YouTube.
