Chapter 3. Virtual Box setup

In order to setup the Virtual Box image please follow the instructions:

Add disks

• Copy Foobar_*.vdi to ~/.VirtualBox/VDI/ (Optional)

• Launch Virtual Box

• File/Virtual Disk Manager

• Add

• Select Foobar_root.vdi

• Add

• Select Foobar_usr.vdi

• Machine/New

• Next

• Name: Foobar, OS Type: Ubuntu; Next

• Base Memory: 512 Mb; Next

• Boot Hard disk: Select Foobar_root.vdi; Next

• Finish

• Select the icon of the newly created Foobar machine

• Machine/Settings

• Select Hard disks

• Click on Add Attachment (+ sign on the right)

• Select Foobar_usr.vdi; OK

• Machine/Start
